Sri Lanka at 1:450,000 on an indexed road map from ITMB, with a street plan of central Colombo at 1:13,000 plus, on the reverse a map road of most of India with large street plans of Mumbai and Kolkata. 

On one side is an indexed road map of Sri Lanka at 1:450,000 with topography shown by altitude colouring (bands in feet), spot heights and graphics for swamps and coral reefs in the coastal waters. Road network includes selected dirt tracks, shows locations of petrol stations and gives distances on main routes. Railway lines are prominently marked, ferry connections and local airports are also included. The map also shows the country’s administrative divisions with names of the provinces. National parks and other protected areas or animal reserves, beaches and various cultural or religious places of interest are prominently highlighted. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 30’. The map is accompanied by a clear street plan of central Colombo at 1:13,000 highlighting various sights, public buildings and selected accommodation. 

On the reverse is an indexed road map of southern India at 1:2,380,000, similarly presented but without petrol stations. Coverage along the eastern coast extends to Kolkata and in the west to well north of Mumbai to Vadodara/Baroda. Large panels show detailed, clearly drawn street plans of central Kolkata (including the Howrath Railway station) and central Mumbai (including the C. Shavaji Terminus / Victoria Railway station).
