This guide covers the South Nahanni River from its headwaters at
Nááts’įhch’oh Tué (Moose Ponds) to its confluence with the Liard
River near the community of Nahanni Butte. Kilometers 0 to 121 are
in Nááts’įhch’oh National Park Reserve in the Sahtu, where the river
is called Tehjeh Deé. Kilometers 121 to 524 are within the boundaries
of Nahanni National Park Reserve, also referred to by its Dehcho
traditional name, Nahʔą Dehé.

entire river, areas outside park boundaries may include less detail.
